Crocs to be blamed?
ever wondered if Crocs were to be blamed for the escalator accidents among kids?
i just witnessed an accident of that sort yesterday evening when my family and i were at Jusco, Melaka (new Jusco) for a family outing i would call it.
The kid's foot somehow got stuck in between the side of the escalator and she was screaming.
and poor Crocs were to be blamed once again by society full stop (.)
Yes, she was wearing a pink original crocs.
she was screaming in pain for over an hour because the authorities at Jusco were slow at handling accidents accompanied by useless gangster security guards who got into a fight with one of the journalists because he took a picture of the scene for the newspaper, and the Bomba took forever to arrive and looked unprepared to handle such situations. I'm sure this isn't the first escalator accident in Malaysia and I'm also very sure its not the first escalator related accident in new Jusco as many of them complained that there was an accident of that sort few months ago. Anyway,
Should Crocs to be blamed?
Crocs is a rubber or soft, pliable shoe which can be problematic, as can long and untied shoe laces. I used to wear crocs when i was younger but hey! my parents taught me how to behave on the escalator. yeah... i don't deny i do joke around at times but i wasn't silly enough to let my feet go past the yellow line on the steps of the escalator. Those lines are there for a reason :)
rule number 1 : Keep ur precious feet off between the yellow lines
this goes out to not only kids, but teenagers, adults and oldies too! - or as long as u can get ur feet on the escalator.
They did warn you about what to do and not to do before you even step on the escalator itself. Didn't they? well, if u're at a shopping complex, they have made it a MUST to display those warning signs.
Rule number 2 : Maintain proper posture while on the escalator aka Do not play on the escalator
and come on parents! Hold on to your kids!!
why allow them to play on those dangerous monster moving technology?!
Kids need supervision.
